From the day that I interviewed Fatema, I knew she would be the perfect caretaker for my daughter.

From that first moment she began loving and caring for my daughter.  I couldn’t have been more relieved as I went back to work. 

In the two plus years that we have been using Fatema for daycare she has been a trusted care-giver and now a friend.  I know that my daughter is in good hands.

My daughter comes home singing songs, with stories about the park, pride in the puzzles she has done, and a million sticks and rocks that she picks up on their walks.

My daughter is a stronger, smarter, lovelier person based off of Fatema’s influence and I would highly recommend her as a daycare provider.

My wife and I would like to post a glowing recommendation here for the home daycare provider that we have been using.  Fatema has become our friend and family over the last couple years.  She has taught our daughter so much.  She has played with her, sung with her, nurtured her.

Fatema has loved my daughter as her own.  That caring began the day that I came to interview her.

While talking to other providers they all looked down at my daughter in her carrier and said “Oh she is cute” and went on to tell me of their services.  Fatema was the only one who asked if she could hold her and meet her.  My daughter snuggled in, smiled and laughed with her, and then proceeded to fall asleep in her arms in the short time we were there.  As she rocked my daughter she proceeded to tell me about herself and her daycare services.  I knew immediately this was where we needed to be.

 Most Fatema Akter runs her daycare from her home in Crystal City.  For us this was a great choice because it was in route to the city so we were not really going out of our way for drop-offs and pick-ups.  I hate backtracking!!  While we had toyed with using a nanny we ultimately decided that it was not the best fit for us.  We really wanted our little one in a small daycare and not one of the larger ones with more children.  Fatema offered us just what we needed.  She has nine years of child care experience.  Prior to that she spent six years as an elementary school teacher.  She has hours that work with our too long work schedules.  The love she has for children just exudes from her.

We just moved out of the area and are sad to be leaving Most Fatema. She’s been taking care of our daughter for over a year (since she was 8 months old) and we couldn’t be happier with her. We toured several places and were struck by Most Fatema’s kind, patient manner with the kids.
